Clark Souers

Senior HR Consultant/Executive Coach & Trainer

In 1994 Clark Souers began his human resources career which spans the entertainment, hotel and non-profit industries.  During his tenure in the entertainment industry, Clark was the Director of Human Resources for Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) where he was responsible for all employee related matters for entertainment venues such as the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, Spring Center in Kansas City and the "02" in London.  His career in the hospitality industry included HR management level positions with Hilton, Millennium and Westin hotel chains.  Clark is currently the Owner of EXPERT EFFECT but continues to collaborate with ECG to provide executive coaching or human resources consulting to its clients when needed. 

Clark has designed and facilitated numerous training programs for employees around the world and has become a recognized speaker on topics such as time management, stress management, conflict resolution, motivation and teamwork.  His other areas of expertise include executive coaching, organizational development, appreciative inquiry, core value assessments, employee relations, union negotiations, employee investigations, policy development, teambuilding and recruitment.

Clark's involvement in the community is extensive which includes roles as a Board Member of the Boys & Girls Club of America and a Volunteer Leader with Young Life.  He was also appointed by the Mayor of Los Angeles to the Workforce Investment Board.  Clark was valedictorian of Pepperdine University and earned his MBA from Arizona State University.  He is certified as an Achieve Global, DDI and Zenger Miller Trainer and after attending the Coaches Training Institute, became an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.

Clark has been working with Executive HR Consulting Group since 2009, and has been responsible for a variety of human resources projects.
