Leadership Development

Leadership Development is an effort that enhances the learners' capacity to lead people.  Leading is setting direction and guiding others to follow that direction.  By the end of this workshop your managers will be able to:

  • Analyze the service culture in your work area.

  • Learn five leader practices they can use to create a service culture that will result in the employee and customer satisfaction necessary for your organization's success.

  • Identify their role as a leader and describe their changing responsibilities.

  • Recognize the importance of using interaction skills on the job.

  • Identify opportunities for using these skills in day-to-day interactions.

         

Coaching & Counseling

Disciplining an employee is not always easy.  Our coaching and counseling training will help you understand communication with your staff, progressive steps in changing behavior, and how to reach termination if necessary and unavoidable.

EEOC Training

Be particularly aware of the growing risks of age and disability discrimination charges.  Implement and notify employees about policies against discrimination, harassment and retaliation. This class is a MUST for all hourly and management staff.

Valuing Differences - Diversity

The Melting Pot - Learn things about different cultures and concepts.  Learn to appreciate others and understand them better.  Understanding and identifying what each team member brings to the organization will allow for increased productivity.

Interviewing/Selection Skills

A must for your management staff - Learn the questions you can and cannot ask.  Learn about different selection tools available.

Customer Service Training and Development

We will teach your employees how to deliver the best customer service while utilizing true examples and hands on class participation.  Classes are geared towards the “adult learner”; they will learn how to deal with that angry customer, diffuse the problem, and turn a negative into a positive.  Results: Trained staff and repeat customers!

EEOC/Harassment Training

ECG's Harassment Training class provides not only sexual harassment prevention, but harassment in general, tapping into all protected groups.  Your employees will know what to say, and what not to say, act, or do.  If you have 50 or more employees, this class is mandatory by law for your management and supervisory staff, and should be conducted every two years.  ECG recommends that this class be provided to all employees, regardless of the size of your company.

Workplace Violence

Confronting workplace violence is a serious problem.  In addition to the basic morale and desire to keep workers safe from harm, increasing legal responsibilities make preventing workplace violence a top priority; yet doing so, legally and comprehensively is not easy.  ECG will assess the risk of violence in a particular workplace, provide a plan of prevention and provide you with suggestions for responding to workplace violence when it occurs.
