Executive HR Consulting Group, Inc. Survey Results give you the information you need to intelligently evaluate your largest expense - compensation.  By having accurate, useful data on the compensation structure in a competitive labor market, management professionals can effectively consider industry trends and find opportunities for cost containment, reduction of turnover, improved budget analysis, and more successful recruitment efforts.  Information is specific, yet presented in a way that maintains strictest confidentiality for all participants. 

2012 - South Coast and The Greater Santa Barbara Area Annual Compensation Survey - ALL INDUSTRIES

We are pleased and excited to be endorsed by the Santa Barbara Human Resources Association (SBHRA)!  The 2012 Compensation Survey for the South Coast and the Greater Santa Barbara areas is comprehensive and covers all industries.

2012 - Hospitality Industry - Annual Benefits & Compensation Survey - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Every year, ECG conducts a Hospitality Industry specific, Benefits & Compensation Survey for  Southern California.  Last year a total of 66 hotels participated int his survey.   The survey is comprehensive, yet presented in a way that maintains the strictest confidentiality for all participants.  The hourly and exempt data is returned to participants in an overall format as well as by geographical areas, in order for participants to view comparison of data within their specific locations.  The survey result reports include: 

  • General Findings Report (rooms, employees, ratios, banquet service charge splits, turnover, perks, incentives, other relevant data collected, etc.)
  • Overall Statistical Report for entire group – Non-Exempt Positions
  • Overall Statistical Report for entire group – Exempt Positions
  • Benefits Information (H&W, co-pays, PTO, Insurances, etc.)
  • Analysis by Geographic Region
  • Analysis by Luxury and Larger Hotels
  • Participant List by Region/Zone
Custom Reports may be provided at an additional charge – We require a minimum of six (6) hotels in order to provide a specific region or a specific custom report, in order to maintain each participant’s data confidentiality.

SURVEY TIMELINE for 2012 - Southern California

Early February - Invitations and Self-ID forms are sent out to all hotels for participation.  If you'd like to make sure you receive an invitation to participate, simply email us at info@ExecutiveHRConsulting.com (or see Contact Us on this site).

March 2nd, 2012 - Your Self ID is due back to ECG.  Once we receive your Self-ID, we will forward you the survey forms for your completion.

March 23rd, 2012 - Your data is due back to ECG via email.

Early/Mid April, 2012 - Survey Results are forwarded back to you via email.

The survey is conducted via electronic media.  Participants receive easy-to-complete excel spreadsheets via email.  Results are returned via email (or in hard copy format if preferred, at an additional charge).  The electronic format allows each participant to manipulate the returned data for individual purposes such as budgeting and further in-depth analysis.
 
Cost-Effective Pricing For Participation
Costs for the survey are shared among the participants and each property is be billed directly.

What is required of each participating property?

  • Complete the exempt, non-exempt and benefits spreadsheets giving their property’s information as accurately as possible.
  • Return the completed forms to Executive HR Consulting Group in a timely manner.

Executive HR Consulting Group manages all other aspects of the survey.  The complete survey cycle, from the date of identification of all participants until reports are returned, usually takes 7-8 weeks.
